This training is designed to give you the knowledge and skills in best practice corporate responsibility tools and standards.

Highway in the dark

In today’s business world it is increasingly important to effectively manage and respond to stakeholders’ expectations, sustainability reporting, assurance processes and the ability to apply AA 1000 principles and reporting guidelines. The purpose of this five-day training is help you gain a strong understanding in all of these areas and is aimed at those responsible for developing Corporate Responsibility reports and those offering related consultancy services.

There are four modules which can be taken individually or in multiples. At the completion of all four modules you will be equipped to:

  • Understand the processes of Corporate Responsibility, sustainability, reporting, assurance tools and standards and the link to core business practice
  • Demonstrate the application of the principles and standards: AA1000 Assurance Standard (AA1000AS); Stakeholder Engagement Standard (AA1000SES); as well as other relevant standards and reporting guidelines (e.g. GRI G3, ISAE3000 and ISO 26000)
  • Acting as an assurance practitioner, the delegate will apply the Principles of inclusivity, materiality and responsiveness to the evaluation of a sustainability report.

Successful completion of this training meets the requirements for Associate Level of Certified Sustainability Assurance Practitioner (CSAP).
